NEW ORLEANS — New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will start Sunday against the Oakland Raiders, the team announced Thursday.
The Patriots did not release any additional information about the game.
Brady has been limited to three games in the last three seasons due to a back injury.
He has played in all 16 games this season.
He started for the first time in two seasons last Sunday against Pittsburgh, completing 13 of 20 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
The Pats’ offense is averaging just 31.8 points per game this season, which ranks 27th in the NFL.
New England is 4-4 in the AFC and 3-4 overall.
The Raiders are 2-6 in the season series.
